Maybe I came back to early, life has been so busy but full of delight. My two traveling daughters came home for a visit. Penny had finished her time in Liberia after completing a very successful project, she had a holiday in Israel and then came home for a month. It was wonderful to see the friendship develop and sparkle with her younger sister and it was just lovely to have her around. We were busy doing jobs, catching up on news and just enjoying her company. She has now moved to Cambodia, which I feel fine about, knowing that my two girls are in the same city. At the end of Pen’s visit we had the wonderful treat of welcoming home Sarah (my oldest daughter) and her beautiful little daughter Riya. They were here for four days but they were wonderful days, watching the two of them interact; watching Riya met, play and fight with her cousinsĀ and just spending time with both of them. Sometimes you feel very blessed and the last five weeks has been one of those times.
I should share our news, we will soon be no longer renters, we have bought an old well-cared for post war house in a suburb close to the city. We will have to do some renovations to it to suit our needs but we won’t be in too big of a hurry to do those, I have started again to read up on how to make your house more sustainable, which is what we really want to do.

Hi Sandra…what a great time you’ve been having. Good news with your house – sounds fun. Lovely to have family around again. We considered buying, but have just signed our lease for another year -enjoying where we are renting now in a cosy, pretty unit, away from the landlady from hell. No more landladies for you now! Congratulations!
